INFO
Fashion Manifesto: The Style-smart Handbook, a collaboration between New York based fashion journalist Sofia Hedström & photographer Anna Schori. It is a fashion manifesto for the modern age, teaching the reader how to be stylish on a budget by re-inventing and re-working beloved old clothes into new. It is also the promotional tool for a whole style-savvy movement that the pair are spearheading across Europe & North America.
The book includes a foreward by Vivienne Westwood, a personal month-by-month diary of Sofia's year without fashion, beautifully shot portraits to accompany a series of fashion 'recipes', tips collated from old books written in the margins, and space for the reader's own notes at the end of each chapter.
Hardhat worked closely with Anna & Sofia to create something that is bold, modern & graphic, but with a definite nod to both the cookbooks of a bygone era and wartime political artwork.
Design for the cover and all internal spreads, as well as all the hand-drawn illustrations found throughout the book, were all produced in-house by the Hardhat team. We also produced fly-posters promoting the style-savvy movement (posted across New York City) and the book launch invite.
The book has a European and North American release and is available from, amongst others, Amazon & Barnes & Noble.
